Description

Igitur qui desiderat pacem, præparet bellum. A Latin phrase translating to 'therefore let him who desires peace prepare for war'. From the dawn of civilisation to an age of wars with no lords, conflict has been intertwined with the essences of brutality and humanity. This piece explores war-relating stimuli such as the limbo between war and peace, and the grey-zone amongst warring factions. A lament from the aftermath of combat. Born under the blue skies, a link from past to future. The flames of hatred scorch the heavens, igniting Gaia's funeral pyre.
