Description

Hailing from Scottish seaside town St Andrews is the award-winning a cappella group Bells. Inspired by a wide range of genres from jazz to pop, soul, and traditional music, Bells is a contemporary choir performing softly woven arrangements, sampling instrumental motifs and heartfelt lyrics by James Blake, Alt J, Stormzy, Sufjan Stevens and many more. This summer, Bells invites you to their show premiering at the Fringe: Soundscape. Staging interactive live improvisation, original compositions and singing alongside instrumentalists, the group creates an immersive musical experience demonstrating their unique creative process and exploring the limits of the human.

Hauntingly beautiful. I was lucky enough to have my name included in their 'sound-bath' which was a unique experience, capturing the true nature of the power of the voice and the musical talent of the group members. An impressive display of a group who can sing together by listening and not getting distracted with the often too cheesy nature of a cappella.
