Description

Atmospheric drama about Second Opium War, populated by rarefied creatures of Chinese and British royal courts. The poor foot soldiers pay the price for their power games, vanity and plunder. 1860, and a Anglo-French army is before the walls of Beijing. How did it get there? How will it get out?
