Description

What would happen if Ludwig van Beethoven met Albert Ammons!? They might play classical and boogie-woogie piano for each other, exchange anecdotes and musical facts, or perhaps even share the piano jointly to improvise and jam! Well, here, American classical recitalist Amy Abler and Scottish blues'n'boogie-meister Daniel Smith do all this and much more. A unique, delightful, humorous, musically superb, wonderfully varied, and ultimately rip-roaring piano-fest! Two trans-Atlantic piano music-mates combine to produce a fascinating, entertaining and very special performance that, well... perhaps even Ludwig and Albert would have enjoyed.
