Description

Are you outraged by the double standards at the UK border and in Western media’s single-minded reporting on refugees? If so, this show is for you. If not, this show is definitely for you. Join Dr Lina Fadel (Heriot-Watt University) to challenge pernicious stereotypes and ask uncomfortable questions about our cultural conversations and research about migrants and refugees, where they come from and who is given a platform to speak about some of the most marginalised and silenced people in our society.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Inside the venue, there is a steep internal staircase consisting of 20 steps leading to the basement where The Lower Hall space are located. There is alternative wheelchair access from Rose Street North Lane. Seating is level and unfixed within these venues.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
