I loved this energetic and entertaining show. I don’t think I blinked for the whole hour! Superb.

Unbelievable, in the best possible way! This show was outstanding. Every dancer brought something to the performance. I have never seen such a diverse range of talent and dance styles combined with amazing choreography and an imaginative production which blends intensity, energy and humour. You might well not see a better show at this year's Fringe. Ten out of ten!

You know something is very good when the hour passes in a flash!
Utterly brilliant show from start to finish. High energy sustained throughout from all these incredible dance athletes. Each dancer performing to their individual dance strengths but all coming together to create a remarkably gelled crew. We have a dancer and a gymnast in the family - both thought it was one of the best shows they have ever seen!
Bravo and a definite 5 stars plus from us!

Super talented cast who performed wonderful dance feats with grace and technique. There’s so much going on you hardly know where to look. For some reason it didn’t quite tick the box for our ten year old but the tweens and I loved it.

Loved the show - actually went twice because it was so stunning. Brilliant concept and the dancers were fabulous. It was non-stop music and entertainment for the whole hour. Fantastic ability and stamina from the performers. Would go again but I'm home again.

Do not buy Premium, there is not much premium there. MB just to get to the door quicker, but there was not much chance to pick the best seats, as everyone rushed in altogether and basically kicked us away. Waist of money for the premium. I believe, that if you are offering the chance to pick the best seat, make a gap in time for the premium guests to be seated first.
The show itself was not bad. About 12-15 dancers, some are better in ballet, others in break-dance. The costumes in the glow in the dark were not nicely made, looked more like a school performance. Again, do not expect anything big and you will not be disappointed, my 6 y.o. child quite enjoyed the show.
p.s. the aggressive man in the middle of the first raw ruined the show, that can happen to anyone.

I saw a preview at the Assembly Gala launch and decided to see the main show this weekend. I was not disappointed.

For a whole 75mins, the cast danced and entertained the audience whilst commanding the stage. A wonderful mix of ballet, hip-hop, beat-boxing, synchronised dancing all performed with insanely high levels of energy throughout. The music was great, costumes were simple and effective (loved the light up laces) and the chemistry between the performers was lovely to see.

Objectively, I found the section where 1 male ballet dancer ridiculed some of the female ballet dancers to be awkward and unnecessary. I also thought the planted singer in the audience part detracted from the show as I then felt the whole front row were also performers/family of the cast so their enthusiasm felt forced. Perhaps a little unfair as I'm sure family attend many shows to support their relatives but knowing this was the case here didn't help.

I had a great time and and I do recommend the show - the audience were all clapping along and getting into it.

I took my 9 year old to this and we both absolutely loved it. She's a ballerina and I love hip hop so it was a perfect match for us. The dancers were super high energy and I left in such a good mood... thanks!

Wow, absolutely stunning show! I was entertained every second of it. The performers/dancers/athletes are incredibly talented and I loved how inclusive they were with their audience tonight. Five stars isn’t enough!!!

Outstanding show with brilliant choreography to a fantastic set list covering all genres of dance with acrobatics and added humour. The talent on show was phenomenal and easily one of the best dance shows we’ve ever seen on the fringe. A must see!

Beats on Pointe is a bright, energetic, vibrant dance show that breaks down the constraints of dance styles and labels and instead celebrates all types of dance on the same stage, to the same music, for the same purpose… enjoyment.
