Well! Avenue Q was an absolute pleasure! Laughed so much at the interaction of the cast with the audience and each other, especially the talented floozy Lucy the Slut played wickedly by Mae Hearons! The entire cast was fabulous and deserve massive recognition for outstanding talent. Thank you all for an amazing show!

Flawless! I loved it.

The actual written material is getting a bit dated, but that’s no fault of the cast and crew.

Apologies provided at the start of the show for a change of cast member seemed odd so far into the run.

The lighting was really patchy - actors not lit up, or not all framed in the spotlights.

I found myself thinking it was all just ‘fine’. People around me seemed to be enjoying it, so I guess it was just me who was a bit meh on it all.

Raunchy . Funny . Everyday Life .

For someone who hasn't heard of any Avenue Q songs at all (except "Purpose"), Edinburgh Little Theatre made my evening enjoyable with this musical!

No wonder it's always sold out! Favorite performances were from Brian (and Bad Idea Bear - best part of the show lol), Kate the Monster, and still in awe of the actor who played Rod doing his hardwork of using that character voice on shows everyday!

An excellent production and performance of an excellent musical! Definitely go see this, really funny and talented cast, and they made every character feel so relatable and adorable. Well done!

I've been wanted to see this for years, and happened to catch a ticket last minute. So glad that I did, amazing acting and a terrific atmosphere. I wish there was a cast list, the replacement for Gary was especially hilarious and probably worked better in the show. I'm so happy that I saw it!

This was my first time seeing a production of Avenue Q and I was thoroughly blown away! The show is so much fun and the actors are all fantastic, especially the unbelievably talented Shannon Maria Daly as Kate Monster, my god that girl can sing! The Bad Idea Bears were also a favourite, I cannot stop raving about this show to family and friends it's honestly so so good. A very sleek and enjoyable performance with a delicious dose of dark humour, well done to everyone!

Laughed so hard! That you actually cared about the lives of a bunch of hand puppets is a testament to the skill of our lovely puppeteers.
Wonderfully funny show.
The “Bad Idea Bears” are now family lore.

This is definitely a show that you don’t want to miss at Edinburgh’s Fringe! Had me crying with laughter, such a talented cast. I really do hope that Avenue Q gets the attention it deserves!

I had heard about Avenue Q and seen off clips here and there, but this was the first actual performance I had seen.
Being a puppeteer, my main interest was the puppetry itself. From the outset, I was not dissapointed. These guys are so talented, and it was great to see how their own performance added to the character of the puppets.

The whole performance is adult in nature, but not over the top. The singing was excellent and the lady playing Kate monster sang especially beautifully. The jokes were funny, well actually the whole performance was funny. Really really funny. The cast bounced off each other and the audience.
Overall this is highly recommended. Go and see it!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Avenue Q, and will be going again with friends before the Fringe ends. The show is, in itself, very funny and the talented cast really shines, giving great performances that further boost the humour.
The cast seemed to play off each other very well, making sure the jokes landed without any noticeable pauses. I also enjoyed the over-the-top muppet-style voices used by some such as Trekkie Monster.
The singing was fantastic, especially (in my opinion) in the case of Kate Monster, whose rendition of Fine, Fine Line was sublime.
Anyway, it was very very good. And that was opening night! Can't wait to see it again, where I'm sure I will enjoy it just as much - if not more.
Side note : The actress who stepped in to cover Gary Coleman does a very good job after only stepping in a couple of days before hand. The situation may not have been ideal, but she was certainly more than ideal in the role. All the props to her for picking that up.

Such a fantastic production- I've seen Avenue Q many times on the West End and locally, I thought it would be hard for anyone to still make this show funny and relevant- I'm so glad I was wrong! Such a brilliantly talented cast great voices and charismatic acting you don't know whether to watch the puppets or the actors because they are both so entertaining! Go see this show if you're in need of a good laugh and a smile that won't leave your face for a long time!

The show opens with the character of Princeton trying to navigate his life after college. Trying to find an apartment Princeton has searched Avenue’s A-P before arriving in Avenue Q and finding the perfect place for him (somewhere he can actually afford, that is). Before too long he is introduced...
