Completely disagree with previous review ! Watched the show the other night, and even though there were a few technical issues, the show was amazing. Very funny and great acting and singing, there aren’t any mics but the actors make up for it really well. Had me and my friends singing the songs for ages after !

I am not sure what other people are watching. There is a distinct lack of performance quality in this show. Lack of mics for actors really does not help. We left after the first half as the characterisation, singing and puppetry were mediocre at best. Please note we were not the only people to leave at interval. Not saying to avoid, but note it does not live up to the hype the reviewers here seem to portray.

Absolutely loved this show. There wasn't a single weak link in terms of the acting and singing, including the supporting actors. I saw it on the night where the actor playing Gary Coleman was unable to perform, so was played by a white actress instead who was INCREDIBLE. The reason I mention her being white is that during 'Everyone's a Little Bit Racist' they all addressed the elephant in the room and ever-so-slightly broke the fourth wall, which was brilliant and hilarious. She should really be commended to the highest order in being able to fill in for another actor - the singing, the dancing, the dialogue, the comedic timing. Her performance was perfect.
They are all wonderful singers, but Christmas Eve's operatic moments took the gold.
And I have to mention Trekkie Monster. The actor playing him is an absolute wizard, I do not understand how he gets his voice to sound...well, like a monster. Perfect casting.
5* to everything.

Went to see Avenue Q last night and the show was amazing. It was hilarious from start to finish and played so well by the very talented cast. Kate Monster was a standout performer played with a perfect blend of humour and emotion. Would recommend this show to everyone! 5 stars all round.

Get yourself to see this show. It’s funny, funny, funny. I am a theatre professional and love this show. Despite the few technical issues the cast did an amazing job with what is a difficult show. Some touches were delivered better than the west end. The girl that plays Kate Monster is amazing and plays the part…. We’ll just like Kate should be done. Emotional and funny. Trekkie steals the show. He is so, so funny. He’s even better than the west end Trekkie I saw. Keep up the good work. This show will only get better throughout the run.
