Where can we find a connection between the two worlds in which we live – the world of determination (digits, reasoning) and the world inside (unexplored, full of Eros, frightening)? How can we explore this without losing sanity? Ariadna guides you through the labyrinths in which modern people roam: gender, body and its objectification, mundanity and mystical feeling. Dip into the primordial, to ancient mysteries and archetypical images, whilst experiencing the very moment of contemporaneity. In the liminal space of the show a new world is being constructed – a one-of-a-kind, never to be recreated.

Ariadna (***)
Loss of identity in a post contemporary society. Mechanical movements. All human interactions are heavily coded. This show is clearly interesting. Perhaps too intellectual to show at 11.55 am. I am not sure nudity adds much.

Authentic, powerful and true to the spirit of contemporary art. From beginning to end they transport you to another realm and place, somewhere, somehow beyond the present. You will literally become a part of the emotional flow that pulses thru out the show, with some intense moments! A truly beautiful show not to be missed!

Ariadna by Alyona Ageeva Physical Theatre PosleSlov is a very intensive piece about the labyrinth of communication between human beeings, their inside and outside existence, their hope and despair, euphoria and fear. It brings us in touch with attraction and rejection between woman and man, all associated with the myth of Ariadna and Theseus. I think the show also puts us in contact with a new form of communication, maybe a more spiritual one. The dancers and the music are fantastic!

A brilliant and provocative performance... Poetic, hypnotic and delivered with supreme skill and confidence. The soundscape, lighting and choreography shifts effortlessly from the dreamlike to mechanical, mystical and back again.

This a company at the top of their game, pushing boundaries, baring their souls and beckoning you to do the same.

Don't miss out.

Alyona Ageeva’s Physical Theatre PosleSlov return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the third year with a piece that feels very much like a direct sequel to last year’s Sky Labyrinths. Three semi-nude female dancers stand over Arsenii Kurianov, who lies on the stage. Their long hair hangs across their...
