Description

As seen on Mock the Week. Iceland's biggest comedian returns to the Fringe after sold-out debut runs in Edinburgh, Melbourne and the Soho Theatre. With multiple accents, voices and a stubborn determination to translate Icelandic material into fluent English, Eagle Fire Iron covers various topics including fatherhood, mindfulness, Icelandic weather, The Avengers and what it's like to live in a country with a population the size of Coventry. Performed with Ari Shaffir, Ed Byrne and the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra. Fast and friendly comedy. 'Very talented comic. An Icelandic treat' (Jim Gaffigan).

Chortle (4/5 stars) 87 days ago

Ari Eldjárn presents an hour predominantly about his nationality. However, this is not an American/Australian/Irish comedian force-feeding cliches. Eldjárn is Icelandic, which - along with his assured delivery and fantastic use of his voice - makes for novel and interesting material. ...
