Beach Comet return with a double bill of batshit, smash-hit B-musical comedy featuring never-before-seen material, a live band, nuns and the end of the world. In this sequel to Fringe favourite Vampire Hospital Waiting Room, the sea-crazed Captain Bleufonde steers his ship towards an apocalyptic storm in a desperate attempt to resurrect his dead lover. With the waters growing stormy, will love overcome all at the end of the world? Come hell or high water, the bar will be serving. 'Utterly, utterly brilliant' ***** (PlaysToSee.com). 'Whirlwind musical comedy' ***** (ThreeWeeks).

This is first show to get me crying with laughter, yes I lost it at one point.....
It's a really really funny show. From the ridiculous Oz accent, angelic nun, 2 old farts, a weird 2nd officer and full loony captain (who seems to adlib to make the action even funnier). I'm so glad I watched this all round singing and dancing mad show. Well done you lot. Looking forward to Vampire tomorrow.

Think of an old style B movie as a musical and go prepared for it to be silly and camp and a mix of rude jokes and clever jokes and puns and stereotypes and there are bits that may not work perfectly. Was a Rocky Horror Picture Show type experience and I loved it but for some will not be clever enough comedy but for me tremendous fun

Some genuinely hilarious one liners and excellent performances, besides that the harmful gay stereotype made me feel uncomfortable and while the songs seemed good its hard to actually make out the lyrics at times due to levelling issues.

This is a real Fringe show. Bonkers story but great fun and the songs were terrific and well sung. The cast of 6 and the 4 piece band were very accomplished and enthusiastic.
I loved the actor who played the South African cruise director who referred to the ships decks as "dicks". Puts cruising in a new light.
Thoroughly recommended for a good laugh.

Seen about 20-25 different shows in the fringe this year so far and I have to say that Apocalypse Cruise Ship Love Affair was the best show I have seen so far.

- Catchy music!
- Hilarious comedy!
- Amazing acting, singing and dancing!

You can tell these guys have made a huge effort to produce such a high-quality show and their work has definitely paid off. This comedy musical is a MUST SEE.

If smutty jokes and suggestive innuendo make you laugh out loud then this is the show for you - particularly if you giggle at the thought of lascivious old ladies, gay stereotypes, naughty nuns and fists.
If, on the other hand, you're a grown up then you may want to try something a little less immature.
