Description

As seen and heard on Netflix, Union Jack Radio and the Max Turner final. Their forefathers fought against each other in The Battle of Fulford. However, Norwegian comedian Thor Odin Stenhaug and Yorkshire stand-up Joshua Mason Wood haven't lived up to their Viking and Anglo-Saxon heritage. They are sensitive boys, scared of confrontation. Now they team up together to talk about what really matters: being named after two Norse Gods, growing up on a boat and grandmothers on social media. Join these two affable stand-up comedians as they seek to lighten up your day.

We saw Thor and Josh twice and they were absolutely brilliant. They had us crying with laughter. Would 100% recommend although it definitely should be for ages 16+

Thor was excellent and very intune with the audience. I couldnt stop belly laughing at his quips. Unfortunately didnt laugh once at the other guy. Cest la vie

I really enjoyed this show. Thor and Josh are charismatic, intelligent, and creative. Thor is great at connecting with the audience. They represent newer ways of doing comedy, alt-comedy, rather than the older, macho stand up scene.

Very pleased I went to this show. Thor was really energetic and engaging which instantly created a feel good atmosphere. Smart, self aware material. Josh was a naturally funny story teller who delivered laugh out loud punch lines with a weird elegance. Would defo recommend!

Enjoyed both acts - very funny, likeable guys who built a good rapport with the audience. Just happened to catch this show between shows and was very glad I did. Thanks to both comedians for starting my fringe with lots of laughter!

Fantastic show. My friends and I were laughing all the way through. Both Thor and Josh are very likeable and have a bright future in stand up comedy. Our favourite show so far.

When I booked this show it was listed as suitable for age 12+, and seemed quite family-friendly from the show description, so I took my 12yr old daughter and 13yr old nephew. The content turned out to be unsuitable, and I see that the age range has now been increased to 14+, perhaps on the basis of previous reviews. I'd say minimum age at least 16: quite a lot of swearing and jokes about sex and about getting drunk.
That said, Thor was funny when he stayed away from these topics and talked about being a foreigner in Britain. Overall verdict: funny in places, but not family-friendly.

I was laughing the whole time at both the acts at this show, really hilarious guys and I would recommend. Such a great find at the fringe.

Thor was great, a natural rapport with the audience and just funny. The Anglo guy just wasn't really for me, sorry.

Watched the show with my 17 yr old and found both acts funny and talented but 14+ would be more suited to their humour than 12+ as advertised. Would have enjoyed some interaction between the 2 acts.

Thor was genuinely funny and entertaining, for both adults and our young boys attending their first live comedy event. He showed that you don’t have to resort to the ‘f-word’ and references to sex or ‘lady parts’ to deliver a show that merits his progression on the scene. His warm-up act, Joshua, however clearly ignored that they’ve posted that event as suitable for 12+, particularly referencing this avoidance of recognition of his audience during the show, and seemed hung up on the belief that a ‘posh-boy’ repeatedly using the f-word and referencing his sexual experiences is in some way funny. Joshua would be best concentrating on his ‘handy man’ work and leaving Thor to progress on the comedy circuit.

Fantastic show! If anything much funnier than expected. Sit at the front, great banter. *****
