Description

Who was Shakespeare's true love? Anne Hathaway who seduced the young Will. Anne Whateley who was engaged to him and, despite her shock at finding him marrying Anne Hathaway, spent her life helping him with his writing. Jane Davenant, the lusty tavern owner's wife – where he stayed on his way to and from Stratford – bore his bastard son. Join us for comic capers with the Bawdy Bard. And then you decide. Starring Stu Jackson as the Bawdy Bard, Julia Munrow as Anne Whateley, Sarah Archer as Anne Hathaway and Emma Hopkins as Jane.
