Description

No Frills Theatre are proud to present the Scottish premiere of American Justice by Richard Vergette. The action of the play is set in the interview room of a penitentiary in the American South where a young man is imprisoned for life for the murder of a young woman, the daughter of a congressman. This congressman lobbied to have this killers death sentence commuted on condition that he could personally educate his daughters illiterate killer. However, are the congressman’s motives quite as noble as they seem? A gripping story which asks serious questions about the US judicial system.
