Description
An Alternative Helpline for the End of the World is a 15-minute consultation delivered through a 1 on 1 phone call, in which the solo audience members' responses through a yes or no algorithm will dictate the course of the performance. Inspired by systems used by call handlers in the pandemic response, each phone call will lead to an outcome recommended by a computer algorithm – a piece of advice for the end of the world. Winner of Autopsy Award 2023.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
