Description

A girl from Oxford meets a boy from Asteroid B-612. A chance encounter between two of the world's favourite fictional characters – inspired by the fantastic books by Lewis Carroll and Saint-Exupéry... Curiouser and curiouser! Devised and performed by Toby Mitchell (co-director of Tall Stories Theatre Company) and Verity Clayton, for everyone aged five and up. 'Toby Mitchell has the right balance of charm and enthusiasm, never patronising the kids' (ThreeWeeks).

I went to see this show with my 5-year old daughter, who loved it. Using a few props, the two performers told the story and played the two main parts in an enthusiastic, yet gentle way that was perfectly pitched for their audience of young children. Clearly skilled in their craft and a lovely story (two classics entwined) with a beautiful message of friendship.

Although there were only two actors involved and very few props the story really managed to capture the imaginations of the children who were enchanted by the performance throughout. It is a charming story of friendship and contentment.
