How does a former DJ turned stand-up comedian cope with a landmark birthday? Well... music! A stand-up show about hitting the big four-oh, from a man who isn't feeling his age. Not all comedy tropes are bad, and misheard lyrics are always great fun. But the show is about more than that, and makes you realise what a difficult business the entertainment industry can be. Some great stories about his time as a DJ.

I saw an early version of the show at the Leicester Comedy Festival & enjoyed it, great to see the final version up here. Personally I enjoyed the opening 15ish minutes story telling set ups, before the change of pace into the music based section (prepare to lose your favourite songs forever !) with callbacks to the set up & a strong close. Well worth the wander down Canongate.

Really enjoyed the show. The first part was ok, with some decent jokes but slightly stilted. From about 20 minutes in the pace quickened and the musical material was excellent.

Laugh out loud funny! Some songs will never be the same again! Best show we've seen at the fringe! May be a failed DJ, but a very successful comedian!
