Would 100% recommend.
By far the best thing we saw at the Fringe (and we saw a LOT). Hilariously funny, intelligent and witty.
We also saw him doing stand up philosophy which we would also recommend.
Philosophy A Level was full of things which made you laugh and then think and allowed you to learn along the way. No jokes were ever at the expense of anyone. You can tell he was a good teacher from the fact that he was v understanding and just accepted when I said I didn't want to speak out in front of everyone and he just asked for a volunteer - very much appreciated!
Get there early as it fills up fast! We think (/hope) he will be the next big thing in comedy!

Edinburgh has been home to many wonderful philosophers, so it is perfectly judicious to go for a comedy about Philosophy at the Fringe! During the 55 minutes, Alex demonstrates his adorable performance skills, philosophically intriguing thoughts, as well as the earnest respect for knowledge and education. This show truly proves that Philosophy can be so enjoyable! Hopefully, Nietzsche's theory of eternal recurrence is justifiably true, while we look forward to seeing you at 2020 Fringe, philosophical Alex ; )

By reading reviews before we arrived at the Fringe we knew we had to see this.
A fantastic show, so well thought out - clever and hilarious and lots of audience participation. The hour flew by!

What have the Bible, Nietzsche, Kelly Clarkson and Kelis all got in common? Quotable quotes of course. Brilliant show with great audience participation. Literally cried laughing.

This is a 5* show - loved every minute. We saw Alex last year at the Fringe and it's great to see him getting the reviews and packed audiences he deserves. Definitely go if you get the chance, you will be smiling for the rest of the day!

Alex’s show is a must see. He is funny, informative and thoroughly likeable. Teachings loss is comedy’s gain. One of the best things at this year’s Fringe. Truly professional. If you get the chance to see him, you won’t regret it. Full house today and continuous laughs.

Highly recommend. Alex is charming, witty, funny and intelligent. Very intelligent. But in an upbeat, exuberant “isn’t knowledge amazing” kinda way, not in the smart arse way so beloved of many. He talks about philosophy and his experience of teaching it to some, um, challenging youngsters, and engages really well with the audience. Thoroughly recommend. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn; but go early - it was full! Teaching’s loss is our gain

There’s a few small signs that Alex Farrow is new to the comedy scene however he’s endearing, interesting and, most importantly, funny. It’s good to laugh while you’re learning and it seems it’s also good to learn a little while you’re laughing. A great, refreshing start to the day.

Alex is a charming comedian who manages to sustain a relaxed and jovial atmosphere throughout his 55 minute set. He may just remind you of your favourite teacher.
