Description
This year, celebrating his 50th birthday, Alastair presents a unique series of concerts highlighting the various strands of the Scots fiddle tradition and his own diverse musical collaborations. In this opening performance he is joined by piano supremo Laurence Wilson, steeped in the Orcadian tradition and most noted for his work alongside famous island fiddler Jennifer Wrigley. Unmissable for those wanting to experience Scotland's rich history of timeless melodies. 'A must for aficionados' (Herald). 'Panache, grace and affection' (Scotsman). 'Master of the instrument' (ThreeWeeks). 'Spectacular in simplicity, scope and delivery' (FolkWords.com).Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
