The award-winning Alasdair Beckett-King returns to this timeline with a dimension-hopping stand-up comedy show. Is a better world possible? Yes! It already exists, but you don’t live there. ABK makes the best of a bad timeline in this ramshackle jaunt through a multiverse of wonders. Also, Winston Churchill performs the best of Queen. 'A singular and truly distinct act, Alasdair Beckett-King creates his own multi-faceted world' **** (Scotsman). 'Alasdair Beckett-King is a nice man' ***** (EdFestMag). 'This is a comedy show' **** (One4Review). **** (Fest) **** (Voice) **** (Three Weeks).

This hour of carefully-crafted and beautifully-observed whimsy will send you home with a grin on your face and an appreciation for the musings of tall, dapper – and very well-spoken – red-haired gents. The inspired and glorious animated title sequence which kicks off the show is worth the price of admission alone, and everything that follows is a bonus. Highly recommended.

Have you ever been to a comedy show by someone who can travel through dimensions, from one world to another? No, me neither. But this is exactly the premise of Alasdair Beckett-King’s show, The Interdimensional ABK. He is from the A timeline, whereas we are living in the B timeline....

The Interdimensional ABK lets Beckett-King play off his strengths of observational comedy and multimedia. It works an utter treat. He is living proof that comedians can be funny without being contentious, and...

Alasdair Beckett-King isn’t your every day comedian, oh no, he is so much more! This wonderful hour of comedy is brought to you by an interdimensional traveller; specifically come to share his thoughts of how we conduct ourselves in our world.

The Interdimensional ABK wastes no time, starting the show with a kick-ass cartoon opening title sequence. This alone gives audience members a heads up that they’re in for a whacky hour of observational comedy, from an alien yet, familiar visitor. Originally hailing from the “A Timeline”, Alasdair Beckett-King points out how baffling our Universe on the “B Timeline” really is.

Fest (3/5 stars) 74 days ago

Alasdair Beckett-King is visiting us from another dimension, to query how we do things here and demonstrate how it’s all much better where he’s from. It’s a conceit that, in effect, enables him to engage in a wide range of observational comedy, unpicking nonsensical norms such as the Royal Family...
