Description

Daniel Radcliffe (aka Harry Potter) and "Weird Al" Yankovic were destined to be together onstage, and now they are! Sort of. This loving tribute to two icons of entertainment will leave you giggling as your toes are tapping. American comedian/musician Steve Goodie brings it all together with songs and accordions and guitars and visual effects that cost many dozens of dollars, all for your amusement!

Steve is hilarious, energetic and warm. He sings amazingly fast and his talent with the accordion has to be experienced to be appreciated. This was an absolute family favourite for us and great finale to our time at the fringe! Kids are demanding that we find out when he's playing nearby again so we can become proper groupies.

If you don't know anything about Weird Al or Harry Potter, you're not going to come out massively educated about them, but as others have said, you don't have to be a fan to enjoy the show. I'm on the Weird Al side of the Venn diagram but generally enjoy any subject that someone talks about with a passion, as Steve does. And the fact he managed to parody Hardware Store, an Al original, is an amazing achievement.

A good time and plenty of contagious enthusiastic energy if you're getting up late in the day.

Really liked the way the show was put together. I'm a fan of both Weird Al and Harry potter, but took friends who were not that familiar with either, and we all had a good time.

Skilful lyricist and enthusiastic musician. Very savage with JK Rowling. Some of the humour fell a bit flat on the audience today. Would suit devoted fans of Weird Al Yankovic.

Good fun, catchy tunes and wholesome humour. I'm not a superfan of either Weird Al or Harry Potter but we didn't need to be to get the jokes, and I loved Steve's enthusiasm for both
