Description

Enter a space resembling a government institution and prepare to escape. An electronic system calls numbers and a silent warden gives out mysterious packages containing a different story to each audience member. Powerful AI makes them the centre of the action, based on their input and decisions whilst they each become connected in a shared experience of waiting. This new genre of personalized storytelling highlights how a society that uses progressive technology can still be moved by creativity, humour and uplifting interactions made possible by human nature. Smartphones, internet and headphones required.

Extremely overpriced. In the working phase, at best. Should have been part of free fringe.

Very disappointing. The “immersive” part of the experience didn’t make any sense with the AI component - there was nothing bridging the concept of the waiting room with what was asked of us. The presenters seemed awkward about tech issues and speaking in front of the audience. The AI content felt like a Mad Libs of our inputs and wasn’t really about anything, just a word salad. The additional prompts were poorly written and again, didn’t make any sense with the rest of the “show”. AI is being used here as a lazy gimmick to sell a premise with little substance beyond sitting in a room while the presenters do nothing to entertain. Save your money and support shows written and performed by humans with something to say.

Interesting concept and has a wonderful potential. Needs fine tuning about the initial setup, the instructor and how audience could interact more with one another but overall, it was a good experience. Can’t wait to see a refined version of this experience.

If you are for innovative formats, have to try it out. Please arrive on time :). Brilliant.

Interesting concept! A few feedback points: I wish the coordinators had an acting persona for the scene, like maybe a robot? I think having instructions early and then a better scene container once we had all the tech settled would have worked better.

Novel concept but needs further development
Inhibited by poor connection issues
