This would have been better if the host had taken it seriously and acted his part properly. The group was too big so not everyone could participate. The clues were fun to begin with but all the same format so became repetitive.

The concept was fun but no consideration was given to covid at all. Multiple groups were using the 'clues' and passing them between each other and 10 people were huddled round a park bench. I was disappointed we were with other groups due to the cost (£60 for 4) I thought we'd have an exclusive 'room' like other escape rooms. One person took over and I spent my time fighting to get the kids involved and had very little involvement myself. I totally missed some of the challenges and have no idea what they involved. Obviously a single group would also be more covid secure.

To add insult to injury the wrong venue is listed on the fringe site so we went to the wrong location and then had to dash across Edinburgh when we found an alternative address, only realised after no one turned up and involved a taxi!

I would say this is not value for money. They (rightly) reuse the same clues again and again and the only 'cost' was a single person standing by the bench for 40 mins (the time it took the group to complete)... That's £150 for 40mins for the group.

Disappointing and far better stuff to spend that amount on. Sorry!

Terrible. Don’t waste your money. A group of strangers crowded round a park bench, this quite not COVID safe hour was marred by an unenthusiastic host, games not working and illegible clues in the agent packs. Not as described, badly executed.
