Description

Upon retirement, Corporal Liam Drury returns to be confronted with sudden and debilitating flashbacks to his time in combat. His marriage disintegrating, he is now being shunted from sofa to sofa. A desperate Drury finds himself forced to fight against the detrimental mental health cuts in the playroom of his ex-girlfriend’s son. Tackling homelessness and veteran support, we explore what has lead Liam’s once regimented life to spiral into utter collapse. An emotional whirlwind of physical theatre, audiences will be left not knowing whether they should laugh or cry at this heart-warming protagonist that refuses to be defeated.
