Description
Let's go on a quest to find The Normal Person in the world, so we could all learn from them. Wouldn't it be great to simply live in a world where everyone was just... normal? This tragicomedy mixes stand-up comedy, storytelling, drama and obviously a healthy portion of ranting into a microphone. It was critically acclaimed as 'not awful', so definitely give it a watch! Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Stumbled into this show with my partner because of a flyer that was given to us. We didn't know what to expect but were positively surprised! The show was very comedic, however Jakob pulled on the heart strings as well talking about his own personal experience in life which made it a very powerful show. It was a great mix between jokes and tragedy, which could resonate with a wide crowd that is willing to listen. Amazing show, can highly recommend!

Wandered into this show mostly by accident as my other plans fell through. If you enjoy comedy but are finding the sheer number number of stand up comics at ed fringe a little repetitive, come and see this! Genre bending, half comedy, half storytelling. You can’t fit this show into a box, which I really like - I came to fringe to see new/innovative/daring/challenging/unique work - not high budget sanitised theatre. Perhaps a few things could be fine tuned but I really think there is great potential here. Just don’t go if you’re having a bad day, as the show becomes very raw, dark and honest later on. If you find certain topics around mental health triggering I would also be cautious as some things hit very close to home for me, if I was going through a rough patch with my mental illness I may have found it difficult. I definitely recommend this show!

We went to this show expecting a fun night of comedy with a drink. It wasn't really what we were expecting. This was not a comedy but more a rant on their life and made me come out feeling sad and not very happy at all. If you want comedy I wouldn't recommend but if you are wanting to listen about someones life issues and trauma this is the one to watch.
