Description

Total sell-out 2010-2018 returns with a brand-new line-up. 'Comedy the way it should be: laugh-a-minute, leaving the audience wishing the show was a little bit longer' **** (Fest). Tom Elwes: Quick wit, high-energy storytelling and acute observations of his chaotic existence. Joe Hobbs: as heard on BBC, So You Think You're Funny finalist. 'Performs with skill and irony' (Chortle.co.uk). Marise Gaughan: 'Scalpel sharp, dark comedy is at its most brilliant best' (TheArtsReview.com). 'Powerful and funny. Her delivery is mature, material super smart' (The Stand Comedy Club). Book early!

Always ignored this as a cheeky attempt to be first in the EdFest list. But we had an AAA-Stand-Up-Late-sized gap that this filled and despite it being much tinier and more intimate than I was expecting (the cellar can't hold more than 50-60 I'd think) it was a lot of fun. Three comedy acts who clearly knew eachother well: I particularly liked 6’9” Joe Hobbs and the very rude Marise Gaughan (maybe don’t bring your mum to see her though). M.C. Tom Elwes did well with a slightly retiscent front row
