Description

Our unique tour sets out to capture the essence and idiosyncrasies of the characters and locations of the McCall Smith 44 Scotland Street books. His piercing perceptions feature the adventures of Bertie the child prodigy, an over-analysed seven-year-old; Cyril the dog with a liking for ankles; the stylish painter Angus Lordie; Big Lou the café owner fae Arbroath; and a Glaswegian gangster, Aloysious “Lard” O’Connor. Alexander McCall Smith has granted permission for this tour and all proceeds from the tours will go to charity.
