A skilled show with a genuinely personable and friendly guy. As a fellow neurodivergent I loved the experience of sharing his life. Very funny guy and thank you Stags. Success!

As a diagnosed AuDHDer I fucking loved attending this show and I'll try and sum up why briefly! :

~ I could book a ticket in advance and stags made sure all the ticket holders were in first (I was last lol) which was super appreciated for my time blindness and hatred of queues
~ stags makes you feel super at ease, including by meeting needs for safety by laying out exactly what to expect from him as a performer and from his show at the start
~ the stories are fab. And so neurodivergent. And they're not even all his best ones I discovered afterwards!
~ I felt myself unmasking my autism in the room, something I've only noticed when I'm out alone wearing my I'm autistic lanyard
~ I love fringe but hate the socially prescribed small talk with the performer on the way out... but was happy to go up to stags and tell him about a kink thing that related to one of his stories! Which started a convo that led to my next point..
~ I got to join stags and another audience member oliver to record a 'roughcast' (casual fringe podcast) conversation around neurodivergence after the show and it was so fun! Stags is so warm and genuinely interested in those who attend his show.

Attending was the best choice I've made at the fringe so far this year

What a fantastic show!!! Very VERY funny and wonderfully appropriately inappropriate in places (which is high praise, indeed) definitely worth a watch if you can still get a ticket

In my opinion, this man has used his recent diagnosis of autism to garner more views and a bigger audience. As an autistic person, I have never felt so out of place. It was not for me at all. I do not appreciate stereotypical jokes and I especially do not appreciate beastiality jokes either.

Spending an hour with Stags is like spending time with a friend. He regales you with stories that make you laugh and there is a cute video of his cat Boxy at the end too...what's not to like! Check him out at the City Cafe...you won'tbe disappointed.

I loved Stag's show , he is a natural and there were so many funny stories, I was in creases. The hour went far too quickly and I'm going to search him out in Derby ! I would definitely recommend this show!

Very entertaining hour spent in Stags’ company, and that is exactly how he makes you feel, like you are with a friend listening to their tales of who said what, what went wrong, and how it happened. Stags is as invested in his audience as you are in him. Lovely guy, enjoyed having a chat after the show.

Absolutely loved this show. He says it won’t be funny, but he lies. It was brilliant and the anecdotes will stick with me for a lifetime. Seriously bummed I couldn’t stick around for the cat video, more chats, and photos.

Stags made us feel relaxed from the start and was hilarious. My face ached at the end. My 16 year old found it hilarious, as an autist himself. Highly recommended!!!

Very funny and heart-warming. Stags brings great energy to the room and creates a very relaxing atmosphere of complicity with the audience, you'll leave feeling like you just hung out with your pals. Highly recommended!
