General venue access

The venue is dark, with some loud noises which may upset those of a nervous disposition and assistance dogs. There are two rides within the attraction which require the user to transfer un-aided into them. There is strobe lighting used in three of our shows. The Drop Ride has various health and safety restrictions which can be viewed on our website.

For guests coming from the Royal Mile, Cockburn Street is a very steep downhill stretch. The alternative is the Scotsman Steps/Fleshmarket Close which have a lot of stairs.

It's scary fun history minus the boring bits! You'll come face to face with the Scotland's most notorious rogues and criminals - from Burke & Hare and Sawney Bean to Mary Queen of Scots and our very own Judge-Mental!
