Description
Acheson House is a Category A listed building in the Canongate area of the Old Town and dates back to 1633. Disused since 1997, the building had fallen into disrepair but an Edinburgh World Heritage grant has not only restored the historic building to its original character, but also helped promote the use of stone slates as a vital traditional building material.
