Description
British comedian Rachel takes you on a stroll down Amsterdam's cobbled streets, where bicycles rule, and everyone embraces the unconventional. She provides an insider's perspective on the cultural quirks that define expat life, all delivered with genuine humour. In her friendly, chatty and relatable style, Rachel explores the perplexing, bewildering, and entertaining experiences of living as an expat in the land of tulips and windmills. From unusual bra fittings, to deciphering the seemingly unsexy Dutch language and embracing random traditions, Rachel sheds light on the cultural chasm between her British roots and her adopted Dutch home. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. A great show with a lot of laughs. As Dutchies, it was very recognisable and we loved all the bits about Utrecht, The Netherlands and our weird behaviours. With her great humour, sharp jokes and great communication with the crowd, it is a must visit for Dutchies and people who want to learn more about our weird culture (so everyone :)).

we (me & my two young adults) LOVED this show. being Dutch, and very well able to take a roast, we can confirm every detail about our national peculiarities is true. thank you, Rachel, for providing this window into the Dutch soul!

Great show! I saw this advertised and had to book it seen as I was meeting my two cousins from Holland (one who after the show now carries the nickname Zwaffel) in Edinburgh. We all really enjoyed it, even my mate who has never been to the Netherlands found it funny.

A really funny lady who has a friendly, relaxed style with her audience. This show explains the differences between the somewhat liberal & relaxed ways of the Dutch culture in comparison to the British culture, in a truthful yet hilarious way! Educational plus a laugh a minute...don't miss Rachel Morton-Young !!

A really fun hour spent with Rachel! You can expect hilarious stories about her life in the Netherlands as a British fish out of water. Whether you are from the Netherlands, or if, like me, you're not but you just love a good yarn, this is a great way to spend an hour. I can highly recommend.

Don't miss this lady!
A hilarious hour spent in the company of the wonderfully entertaining Rachel as she recounts tales of how her life in the Netherlands differs to her past one in the UK. She has a talent of engaging her audience so you feel you are in the company of friends at a party and all having the best time!
Great venue as well for food and drinks so don't miss this gem of a show!
