Description
Austrian comedian Hubert Mayr takes stock of his life by comparing it to what he believes to be the gold standard for Austrians: Arnold Schwarzenegger. Whether it's fitness, the move abroad or the quest to make it in the world of entertainment, Hubert managed to do it all in the worst way possible. In his debut hour, he'll try to explore (in his signature dark and sardonic style) if maybe becoming the anti-Schwarzenegger is the way to success. As seen and heard on Comedy Central, JOYN and BBC Radio. 'Plenty of black humour.' Very funny show! Some great jokes, really worth checking out on a Sunday morning in a laid back venue.

Such a funny, well constructed show, Hubert compares himself to a famous Austrian (no not that one, although he does get mentioned a few times), made us laugh alot.
Would definitely recommend if you like a little bit of dark humour.

This was an unexpected delight. It maybe dark humour but really made me laugh. An intelligent and well constructed piece of comedy. Hubert I’m sure your Mum is very proud of you!

One of the funniest and best written shows I've seen at the fringe! It's a great concept for a show and the jokes are brilliant. The hour flew by and I will definitely be seeing Hubert again! Do not miss this show!!

Really enjoyed this show, there were some brilliantly understated punchlines in the set which made me laugh.
A really genuine performer as well, it was a relaxed environment and I'd highly recommend catching this show.

Absolutely loved Hubert's show, it had some of the freshest content & jokes I've heard at the Fringe this year.
I like Arnold's famous quote "I'll be back", but I like Hubert's a lot more..."sorry I thought there was a vibe here"
If you're lost looking for a show to go to, you won't regret seeing this show, and is surely at the only Fringe venue where you can lay down during the show?

This was one of the first shows we watched at this year's Fringe and offered an excellent start to our day in an unusually comfortable venue! It was great to see an Austrian performer on stage, deliving anectdotal and, at times, dark comedy. If you are looking to enjoy a diverse range of humour, this is a must watch!

If you like your comedy dry, dark and in a reclining position, this is the best way to start your Fringe. Loved it.

I realise that a black comedy stand-up set may not typically lend itself to a late morning slot. However, it very quickly became obvious that an audience was going to enjoy this; myself included. This was an entertaining, self-deprecating set within a cosy environment, ultimately lending itself to an intimate experience with loads and loads of laughter. I felt really glad to put my feet up and begin my day with this! :)
