Join Uxbridge's third-hardest man, Mad Ron (Reginald D Hunter tour support) and special guests for an hour of character-comedy stand-up. Now a multi award-winning act (nominated for Best Show at the 2023 Leicester Comedy Festival) and regularly opening and closing clubs all over the country.   • Accessible entry: There are 2 steps into the main bar area and then 20 steps down into the performance space area. Narrow passages at performance space level to the three small performance spaces.

Unfortunately a "Needs of the one outweighed the needs of the many" situation occurred, meaning I only caught the latter half of this show.

But it was well worth just seeing half. So the whole show must be even better.

Saw Roger Swift, the Clown Prince of Visual and spoken puns, worked through his set at a breakneck pace. Sometimes to laughter. Sometimes to cheers. And sometimes to jovial groans. But always funny and entertaining.

Which brings us to Mad Ron Spanners. A brilliant character portrayal of an old school villain who is also relatable. This man can squeeze more comedy out of a well-timed pause than most comics can manage in an entire show. And the jokes are even better.
