Alicia was fantastic! She had a great sense of humour and her timing was wonderful. I normally don’t go to comedy shows for fear of it being not funny but I am pleased to say this was indeed quite funny. Alicia was full of heart, her stories of migration, unemployment, and growing older, all were very real and raw. Learning to poke fun at it and laugh through it all is a skill and I’m glad I got to explore that with a talented comedian such as herself.

Alicia put on a great show filled with funny stories of her time travelling from country to country before becoming a teacher. Very likeable, great energy and left the whole audience laughing. If you want to support an unknown comedian, support Alicia!
