An excellent show. Dan handles a difficult personal experience with great skill; the humour and well-written punchlines don't detract from the emotional content of the show, which was moving and sensitively handled without being self-absorbed. Dan quickly established a good connection with audience, which made for an engaging show, punctuated with lots of laughs.

Dan is one of my favourite joke writers and this show doesn’t disappoint. It’s packed with great jokes and lines along with an emotional core and honesty that was really amazing to see. Go see this show!

Dan’s show was an incredible introduction to his comedy - holding heartfelt themes and witty writing in both hands. His show was only surpassed by his incredibly warm and sincere personality - great for a talk before or after the show if you catch him. A must see if you are based around the A&O Hostel !

This is an absolute gem of a show. Dan is a skilled joke writer and a very engaging presence. A highly personal showing dealing with the difficult issue of body image. Dan manages to deftly tell his story, keeping it peppered with big laughs and avoiding the pitfalls of mawkishness which are so often prevalent in shows about dealing with personal issues. An absolute triumph which deserves to be seen by as wide an audience as possible.

Unmissable! Dan tackles the subject of body confidence in such a likeable and relatable way, whilst being hilarious at the same time. The twist in the tale is just the cherry on top. Beautifully crafted jokes and story telling. Catch him while you can.

We did not find this show entertaining I am afraid.
The show is purely his own story with his life struggles, which were unquestionably difficult, but the content of the show, in a small venue, left us wishing we hadn't paid to be there for an hour.
It is also rated 14+ I think it should be 16+ due to the shared trauma.
The sales lines for this show describe it as gag heavy, it is not.

Dan Fardell's show is funny, beautiful and honest. Dan is so likeable, and instantly made me feel comfortable and on his side when sat in the audience. The show was celebratory. It was very funny, with humour woven into every story and every path he took us down. I'd highly recommend seeing this show.
