Description
This show is a cheeky, hilarious, mellifluous romp through one singer’s colourful (and true!) past of cult-loving husbands, vampiric record producers, jailbird exes, shaggable therapists and diverse pharmaceuticals, peppered with lusty vocals delivered in bra-busting style. From lilting pop vocals to classical trills and belting cabaret-style show tunes, this new show from a first-time Fringe artist is a unique mix of musical snippets and comedy quips. 'Musical mayhem comedy. Barbara had the room singing and clapping along whilst also keeping them in hysterics' (Kyle Wallace, G&B Comedy). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. What a show! Went with some friends on the 19th and we couldn’t contain our laughter. One of the rare performances where everyone is in stitches and you leave the venue with your cheeks hurting. Cheers Babs!

Raucous and raving! Barbara is a skilled singer and a force of nature. A wonderful harum-scarum show where your feet don't touch the ground. Talk about energy. You come out never the same as a man in relation to women. A great night. Very well done.

I loved this show! Barbara Fernandez takes you on music-filled journey through her life, laughing and singing and sharing her stories in the most playful and welcoming manner. She is fearless, endearing, raunchy, and unflinching. It's a refreshingly raw and candid performance. Vulnerable - yet also confident and unapologetic at the same time.
Dressed like an old school cabaret performer, her delivery is a blend of storytelling, comedy, cabaret, music, and more. She engages the whole crowd in such an inclusive silly way, leaving no one feeling isolated - while also leaving no one feeling picked on or uncomfortable.
The show is packed with original parody songs that Barbara has written Weird-Al style, stacking her own clever lyrics on top of classic rock ballads we all know and love. This woman has pipes! WOW - her vocals blew me away.
Underneath the fun glitzy delivery is a real heartfelt story about getting to know yourself and accept yourself for who you are.
This show is a hidden gem. I'm so glad I discovered it. Highly recommended!

A brilliant show, the last, and one of the best I saw last week when I was there. She is a talented all-rounder with great stories and clever songs to entertain. Lots of laughter all round.

A really great way to spend an hour! Barbara takes us through her colourful life in a series of cheeky, fun songs, and also poignantly highlights the role of mental health. This show will make you laugh, cheer, think, and sing along with her! I can highly recommend.
